SUM Guard covers are carefully engineered products, always made to measure and tailored to the needs and requirements of the user. SUM Poland products are used across all industrial sectors and are supplied to customers worldwide. Only proven, top-quality raw materials imported from Germany, the Netherlands, and North America are used in production.
SUM Guard covers guarantee:

Energy Savings
Let’s look at a few examples.
Energy losses are closely related to the surface area of the valve assembly. It is the same principle as with a radiator—the larger it is, the more efficiently it emits heat to the surrounding environment. Uninsulated valve components effectively act as such radiators. Heat is emitted by everything—the body, actuator, counter flanges, and even bolts and nuts. In total, this results in a very large surface area.

The second important factor is operating temperature. Combining these two parameters shows how significantly the lack of insulation impacts processes.

An uninsulated DN50 valve operating at 150°C generates an energy loss of 21 GJ.
To better illustrate this, let’s convert this value into liters of heating oil:
After properly insulating this valve, nearly 557 liters of heating oil would be saved annually, and this refers to just one relatively small valve!
Modernity of Solutions
If you have digital models of your installation (e.g. .step files), we can design the insulation remotely. You can even receive ready-made insulation covers for an installation that does not yet exist physically.
Need thermal insulation for a large and older piece of equipment, such as a power plant turbine? Perform a digital scan, and we will prepare the design based on it.
We have developed our own measurement system, enabling industry-leading precision and fit. To maintain accuracy, measurements and drawings are processed in a CAD environment. The covers are manufactured using modern CNC plotters.
During production, the covers undergo a two-stage quality control process.
All resources and production stations are integrated into a computerized production management and monitoring system.
