This is one of the largest projects we have carried out remotely (with no site inspection), and one of the most extensive we have ever completed. The pressure vessel, with a diameter of 4 metres and a length of nearly 24 metres, was fully insulated using our SUM Maintenance Guard cover system.
Interestingly, the insulation is completely self-supporting – no auxiliary structures were used during installation, and no modifications were made to the equipment itself, as is typically required with conventional insulation systems (such as welding studs or pins, or installing supporting frameworks). Thanks to its modular design, it enables non-invasive and tool-free access to any section of the vessel through the quick removal of an individual insulation component.

The entire project was carried out based on 2D equipment documentation provided by the Investor.
