SUM Heating Guard covers are used as an active system which, in addition to its insulating function, is able to protect installations against the temperature dropping below a preset value. At the same time, the covers protect the device itself—in this case the filling nozzle—from the adverse effects of weather conditions. It is not exposed to rain (corrosion), UV radiation, wind, temperature fluctuations, etc.

The SUM Heating Guard cover is equipped with an electronic thermostat with a temperature sensor and a power supply cable.

The thermostat is mounted on the outside of the cover in a specially formed pocket. Access to the control panel is easy and unobstructed.

Most importantly, like all other products in the SUM Guard family, the cover can still be quickly removed from the device (together with all heating cabling), providing unrestricted access for maintenance or inspection work.
