When undertaking a project to insulate pipework and fittings in a production facility, we are sometimes surprised by questions such as: “How much space will you need to set up materials and equipment for the insulation work?” and “How long will your team be on site?”
We immediately understand that we are being compared to companies specialising in fixed insulation and their way of working. However, these are two completely different technologies, each with its own specific requirements for implementation.
At this point, we explain to our client that we do not require any dedicated space or electrical connection. Our work is carried out in such a way that, in most cases, it does not disrupt the operation of the plant or the production process.

Our employees visit the client twice. The first visit is for measurements. Depending on the level of complexity and the number of units requiring insulation, this stage may take from a few hours to several days. During this phase, the technician only needs a tape measure, a notebook, and a pencil. This may not sound impressive, but responsibility rests with them to produce accurate drawings and provide all necessary dimensional and technical information required by our design team.
The jackets are then manufactured in our modern production facility. Our installers return for the second visit with the finished insulation jackets, at a pre-agreed time—often during planned shutdowns or periods of reduced production load—when they “wrap” the installations. This is the second time the client sees us on their premises.
