“Warning! Hot surface.” Such warning signs above technical installations can be found in many production plants. We know a fast and effective way to separate heated valve and piping surfaces and prevent unwanted incidents. This is achieved, of course, by installing SUM Guard thermal insulation covers in these areas.

Importantly, removable, custom-fitted insulation in the form of covers ensures unrestricted access to equipment thanks to the ability to quickly remove and reinstall the jackets without tools. Maintenance personnel, during servicing work or in the event of a failure, have rapid access to the valve and piping components located beneath the covers.

The visible steam and condensate installation has been hermetically enclosed with fixed insulation and SUM Guard covers. There is no risk of accidental burns to personnel; the heat is securely contained and used exclusively for the process in question.
