We present another project on a steam installation, where our task was to fit into areas where the use of fixed insulation was not possible. Exposed valve components and other fittings generated unnecessary energy losses.

A properly matched size and shape of the insulating covers ensures that all valve components are fully covered, thereby minimising heat loss.

In this steam installation, the Client selected SUM Maintenance Guard thermal insulation covers with a carefully matched fabric colour, allowing them to blend seamlessly with the existing traditional sheet-metal insulation. As a result, the entire steam installation presents a consistent and aesthetically coherent appearance, while remaining effectively thermally insulated.
