Alongside our quotation, our Clients receive energy calculations for each piece of equipment to be insulated. What parameters are required to perform such a calculation?
Input data such as operating temperatures and ambient temperatures are determined during an on-site inspection carried out by our technicians using, among other tools, a pyrometer and an infrared camera, as well as through interviews with the Client. We can also work with data provided by the Client or with design documentation.
In addition to the temperature mentioned above, the following parameters are taken into account when calculating insulation performance:
🔸 estimated heat emission surface area,
🔸 heat losses before and after insulation,
🔸 annual operating load of the installation, etc.
In our energy calculations, each item/valve assembly is calculated separately.
If you are considering thermal insulation for equipment, machinery, valves, and process lines, we invite you to send us an enquiry, and we will prepare full information regarding the costs and benefits of the planned investment for you.
