SUM Guard covers, as tailor-made and made-to-order insulation solutions, can be manufactured from a wide range of material types. The appropriate selection of fabrics and filling is based on arrangements and information provided by the client.
A cover manufactured in a selected technology is characterised by specific thermal and chemical resistance properties. It should be used in accordance with its intended purpose and in an environment for which the strength and chemical parameters of the component materials have been selected.
In-service SUM Guard covers require only basic maintenance, including:
periodic inspection of Velcro fastenings and removal of any contaminants
periodic cleaning of the cover surface using a vacuum cleaner, compressed air, or a damp cloth – in the case of silicone- and PTFE-coated fabrics, the use of non-aggressive detergents is permitted
Proper use of the covers ensures long service life.
