Ball valves are a common type of valve with wide applications across all industries. Our technicians encounter them regularly in their work. This important shut-off component is responsible for fully isolating and quickly restoring the flow of process media (liquids and gases). They can be used in both low and high temperatures, underwater conditions, and under high pressure – in short, they are an essential element in any installation. These valves consist of a body, a seat with a ball, a manual lever, and a stem.

In the food industry, ball valves are used to control the flow of various liquids, such as juices, water, syrups, milk, oils, etc.

In the power generation industry, ball valves are used to control the flow of steam, cooling media, oils, as well as other energy carriers. They are also used in other industrial plants, including chemical and refinery facilities, as well as in gas pipelines. What changes is only the type of substance flowing through this type of equipment.
