In our work, we often have the opportunity to encounter, for the first time, equipment and technologies used within narrow domains of specific industries. Technical Development Specialists (TDS) working in the field frequently bring back technical drawings of machines or industrial installations that are not only interesting in terms of their size or level of complexity, but also in terms of their application.
Thanks to the fact that SUM Guard thermal insulation covers are universal and highly versatile, they can be used across every branch of industry, in countless applications and material configurations.
One such interesting project we completed involved the insulation of a “steamer” and a “blancher” at a client in the food industry. Food processing equipment is often characterised by large diameters. In this case, we were dealing with units with surface areas of approximately 35 m² and 28 m².

Our energy calculations showed that, thanks to the use of SUM Guard covers, heat losses to the environment were reduced by as much as 89%, enabling savings of nearly 1,400 GJ of energy per year!!!

For operators working with such equipment on a daily basis, the ability to monitor the process taking place on the production line is essential. Therefore, in critical locations, access flaps were installed to allow rapid access to the equipment.
We approach such projects with enthusiasm and commitment. We implement effective solutions and proven technologies, drawing on the practical knowledge and experience of the entire team.
