We have already demonstrated that large dimensions are neither an obstacle nor a challenge for us.
Among other projects, we have installed covers on pipeline systems in district heating chambers, with diameters reaching up to DN 1,200 mm!!!!!
In the photo below, we present a recent project where the circumference of the equipment simply required greater strength and effort from our installers during fitting.
Another challenge was a pressure vessel with a diameter of 4 m and a length of nearly 24 m, fully insulated with our SUM Maintenance Guard cover system.
How is it possible that, despite such large diameters, our flexible covers remain securely fitted on valves and equipment? The cover is a self-supporting structure – it does not require any stiffening ribs, brackets, or other auxiliary elements.
We NEVER intervene in the equipment itself, as is typically the case with traditional insulation methods (such as welding studs or rods, or welding supporting frames).
Thanks to its modular design, it allows easy, tool-free access to any section of a tank or piece of equipment by quickly removing a single insulation component.
