This particular equipment sparked our interest to such an extent that we decided to read a little more about it. What does the mysterious abbreviation RTO stand for?

An RTO installation is a modern system used for the purification of exhaust gases from volatile organic compounds (VOCs), as well as benzo[a]pyrene (BaP). The abbreviation RTO, derived from the English term Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer, refers to a regenerative thermal oxidiser for exhaust gas treatment.
RTO systems are among the most energy-efficient technologies for removing volatile organic compounds from exhaust gases.
