We have repeatedly demonstrated in our posts that thermal insulation cover technology is universal and that virtually anything can be insulated in this way. Through examples of valves and technical equipment that we have insulated, we aim to show that reducing energy losses by using insulation covers is both extremely simple and highly effective.

The installation shown in the image is a manifold with steam valves. Such manifolds are typically equipped with pressure indicators, shut-off valves, check and safety valves, as well as a condensate drainage system. The SUM Maintenance Guard covers used here are designed for continuous operation on valves and equipment operating at temperatures of up to 260°C. The outer casing is made of glass fibre fabric coated with silicone, while the internal fabric is resistant to potential steam leakage.
