Based on many years of experience in the manufacture of custom-made removable thermal insulation covers, SUM Guard technology was developed, combining advanced insulation materials with carefully engineered and unique design solutions.
SUM Guard is:

Insulation
The effectiveness of SUM Guard technology is determined by its thermal insulation filling. The standard solution is a needled E-glass fibre mat with a minimum density of 130 kg/m3. In addition to its high insulating properties, it also offers very high mechanical strength, allowing it to function as the structural framework of the cover. The use of glass fibre mats (instead of mineral wools) ensures that the cover retains its original shape throughout its entire service life. Alternatively, or as a supplement, silicate mats, rubber-based insulation, pyrogels, and many other materials may also be used.
Cover
To protect the insulation against weather conditions, chemical substances, temperature, and mechanical impact, special technical fabrics are used, including both glass and silicate textiles, additionally finished with impregnation or special coatings (silicone, PTFE, aluminium foil, etc.).
Construction
