We present one of the projects we completed in the last six months – the installation of thermal insulation covers on valve fittings of manifolds at a plant belonging to a leading manufacturer of wall materials.
In this case, we were dealing with a steam installation where the lack of insulation resulted in significant energy losses.

For modern industry, it is of great importance to generate the lowest possible energy losses. Manufacturing enterprises optimise the amount of energy consumed per tonne of product and seek solutions that effectively improve the energy efficiency of installations.

Savings in toe
Investment in insulation in the form of removable SUM Guard thermal insulation covers not only delivers savings in toe, but also extends the service life of the insulated equipment, as in this case with the steam installation.
It is also worth mentioning another benefit for the plant, namely improved occupational safety for employees. The covers protect against accidental burns and also improve working comfort in enclosed spaces by reducing the temperature emitted by equipment.

The investment in SUM Guard covers resulted in the company obtaining White Certificates.
More information on white certificates can be found on the website of the Energy Regulatory Office (URE).
