SUM ANTISTATIC GUARD covers with PTFE (TEFLON®) coating for explosion-hazard areas (ATEX/EX zones)
Fabrics intended for use in explosive atmospheres must be flame-retardant to VTM-0 flammability class or equivalent, and must have permanent anti-electrostatic properties.

Maintaining full continuity of charge dissipation
SUM Antistatic Guard covers are manufactured based on PTFE-coated glass fabric. The specific cover construction, the use of seams made with metallic threads with a stainless steel core, and stainless steel locating rivets connecting both the outer and inner layers of the casing ensure full continuity of charge dissipation.
The covers can also be equipped with grounding connection points.

SUM Antistatic Guard covers perform exceptionally well on installations and equipment in the mining, chemical and petrochemical industries, where they are used, among other things, for the insulation of:
- all types of fittings and pipeline equipment,
- wellhead assemblies in oil and gas extraction facilities,
- loading arms,
- heat exchanger heads, ejectors, etc.
